Tiki Tubing - August 8th -(Saturday) - This activity
has been canceled.
Movie Night - August 7th
-(Friday) - We will see G.I. Joe at 10:30pm at Rave - Mall of
Louisiana. Please purchase your ticket in advance to avoid a sell
out.
Ric Seeling's Studio Dance - August 7th -(Friday) - Like to dance? Join us
at Ric Seeling's Dance Club (10776 N Harrell's Ferry Rd in the Reeves Shopping Center) on
Friday night for their Studio Dance session. The Studio Dance is a
time for students to practice their moves in a dance club setting and
for the general public to dance as well. A variety of music and dance
styles will be featured, including swing, latin, and ballroom. Even
if you don't dance, it is still fun to watch! Cost is $7 per
person. The dance is held from 8:30pm - 11:00pm. Meet at the
front door at 8:30pm.
Sunday Evening Bible Study - Song of Solomon
We
had great turnout for our first Sunday evening bible study. If you weren't
able to make the first session but would like to attend, please join
us! We will do a brief recap of last week's lesson to catch you
up. Week Two's session will focus on Courtship.

From
church - Take the back exit to Cedarcrest and turn
left. Go under the interstate. The first street on the right,
Bronzebush, is a dead end into a driveway just after the
interstate. The second street on the right, Lebanon,
turns into the driveway to my apartment complex, Aubin Court
Apartments/Townhouses. Its almost all the way to Old Hammond.
Once on the driveway, take a right, then a left and I'm on the right hand
side, Apt. 402.
Just look for Brad's blue Ford Explorer, which is usually directly in
front of the door; you can park anywhere.
You
can also get to it from Aubin
Lane (which runs between Reeves Shopping Center
and Billy Heroman's Florist). Coming from that side, the
apartment is in the second building on the left.
Volunteers Needed - Help Elisa Cockerham Move - August 29th(Saturday)
Elisa
is asking for individuals to assist in moving her belongings from her apt
on Jefferson Hwy
to her new home off S Harrells
Ferry Rd. If you have a truck that you
can volunteer for a few hours, it would be appreciated. The move
would begin at approx 9:30am on Satuday, August 29. If

Beth Moore Simulcast - August 28th(Friday) & 29th(Saturday)
On
August 28-29, Beth Moore is bringing Living Proof Live to her hometown of Green Bay, Wisconsin.
Thanks to simulcast satellite technology, she'll spend that weekend here in
our hometown too. The same soul-stirring worship, the same
life-changing teaching - right here, in real time at Istrouma. Hosted
by Istrouma Women's Ministry.

are $20 each. For GAP class members, we will be able to offer a
discount on the ticketed price. The amount of discount is dependent
upon the number interested in attending. Allison Anthon will be

ticket.
Volunteers Needed
Tickets for the Beth Moore Simulcast are being sold online and
on Sundays mornings at the Ministry Desk. We are looking for women to
help sell tickets between services from now until the event. If you are
available to help please email Elisabeth Nipper mrs@willnipper.com the date and times that
work best for you. Below is list of times and Sundays. Thanks for you help!

We are moving forward with reservations for our annual
beach retreat to Orange
Beach, Alabama.
